An Intimate Mountain Engagement Session
Some moments deserve to be celebrated slowly — away from the noise, away from the crowds, and surrounded by the places that make you feel most alive.
Eva and Michael traveled from California to Hawaii for just a few short days, taking time to celebrate one of the biggest chapters of their story: being engaged. They weren’t looking for something elaborate or staged. They wanted something intimate, romantic, and true to the way they love each other.
We ventured down a quiet trail surrounded by a bamboo forest, letting the journey become part of the story. There was something so special about walking through the island’s landscapes together — the laughter along the way, the small moments between locations, and the feeling of exploring somewhere new hand in hand.
As the sun began to set, we made our way to the top of the mountain where the landscape opened up into a breathtaking view. Standing there with the entire overlook to ourselves, it felt like the world had slowed down just for them.
The beauty of their session wasn’t only in the scenery — it was in the way they moved together, the way they looked at each other, and the quiet connection that didn’t need anything else around it.
Their Hawaii engagement session was a reminder that the most meaningful memories are often created in the simplest moments: choosing each other, chasing adventure, and finding a place that feels like it belongs only to you.
Eva and Michael, thank you for allowing me to document such a special season of your story. I hope these photographs always bring you back to the feeling of that evening in Hawaii.
